For this throwback Thursday, I'm not posting old pictures or reminiscing, but I am using clothes in my closet that I've owned for a while to recreate a new look. Buying clothes just to wear them once is expensive and super wasteful, but wearing old clothes and looking out of date is not an option. So what's a girl to do? I wake up all the time and think, "Well, I guess I need to go shopping because there's nothing to wear here." But unless you're a model, movie star or friends with the right people updating your wardrobe every week isn't an option. I wrote a post a few months ago about shopping your closet, so I decided to take my own advice and throwback to older pieces that still look great and create this fall look, which I was really happy with!
Plus! Since fashion is so cyclical and because these pieces are only from last fall (the glasses are only two months old and already off the website!) I was able to find almost identical pieces for each one! These boots are some of my favorites and were a Christmas present from my parents. They are two years old and look brand new! They were a little expensive when I added them to my wish list, but that just goes to show that quality is worth the money! There are a few pairs available on Tradesy (a site that I love!) if you fall in love with this exact pair, plus since they are on the older side they much more affordable now!
