Cardio is my fav type of workout. I think I might be in the minority here, but I always feel like I've done more and worked harder when I do cardio. So instead of lifting and things like that, I love to run, shuffle and move! I've always been active and have never been great at sitting still, so that's probably why I love cardio so much! I need that fast-paced workout!
I'd love to try yoga on a more regular basis, but unless it's a faster class I often lose interest. Yes, I know yoga is supposed to be slow, calming and rejuvenating, but I've never been able to find my zen. I failed horribly at pilates, too. Much for the same reason. But, being able to slow down (read: chill the f*** out) and bringing down my stress levels are both on my to-do list this year. I've even been talking to someone that works with Matt about doing some yoga/pilates videos!!
Until that happens I'll continue running, hitting up spin classes, and shuffling around cones with Matt. Believe me a great cardio workout can alleviate stress, too!
