I think every woman out there has a few insecurities that they are hyperaware of and one of mine has always been my teeth. I was the seventh grader with crazy teeth, a freshman with braces, then a freshman with a retainer and now I'm 24 years old with slightly stained teeth. Still it's one of those things that's always bugged me.
How many tubes of whitening toothpaste, bottles of whitening mouth wash and boxes of white strips have you purchased over the years? If you're anything like me the answer is probably a lot. I've also been that person who's pondered at night what a professional whitening treatment would cost and if I should ask for it as a gift. Then Smile Brilliant asked me to try out their product and share it with you and it was like the clouds parted and I had something new to try.
For a little background: I am an avid toothbrusher and according to my dentist can be a little overzealous about it (sorry, gums!). I hate floss and going to the dentist, but I do both because you're supposed to and who am I to break the dental hygiene by-laws? However, I am an avid coffee drinker and start my day with one or two cups like clockwork. I sometimes grab a latte at lunch and then feel guilty for my caffeine consumption and switch to tea (even though it's still caffeinated, but for some reason it feels like less of an offender than coffee.) Throw in the inevitable occasional glass of red wine, I mean I do live in the Napa Valley, and I've ended up with a little surface staining that even the best whitening toothpaste can't mediate.
My biggest fear when trying out this new product was the sensitivity that I have experienced with other products in the past. I knew going in that the product came with a desensitizing gel that would counteract that common effect, but I honestly thought it was too good to be true. Well... I was wrong because after a few weeks of testing out this product the gel, I dare say, made it doable and made the process so much more comfortable.
With summer knocking on our doors and all the amazing coral lip shades out there (beautiful, but yellowing) there's no better time to get your perfect smile!
Love you lots,
